Final Week Update

Hello everyone

I am finally done with my improved project. The project is a Power Point presentation of eight slides. I met some challenges while working on this because I had to adjust the daily lesson planning template into the slides. I'm so happy that we are done with another quarter.

Finally we're in the last week of classes! I which I could be happy for being the last week, but I can't because I still have to work on the project. I also need to revise some of the other assignments. Thanks Dr. Newberry for letting us submit work until June 13th.

Weekly Update June 2-June 8

Hi Everyone

We're reaching the end of the quarter. I'm currently working on the project that is due on June 8. I decided to change the form of my project from a document form to an online tutorial. I'm thinking of making it on PowerPoint. Does anyone have suggestions?

This was a big decision that I had to make, because I do not have a lot of technological skills. I felt more comfortable working on a document form for my project. I hoping this tutotial project doesn't become too challenging for my current skills. I hate getting overwhelmed on the last week of the quarter.

The IRB Assignment and weekly update

This past week was challenging for me because I had to prepare for an interview and at the same time work on the IRB. Thank God I'm done with both things. For me the CITI training module was a very long reading assignment. I'm looking forward in completing the project in the following weeks.

Weekly Update May 12- May 18

I just submitted the Proposal to the Dr. Newberry. This past week I read all the information on the IRB assignment and all the other material. I agree with the person who mentioned that there was a great deal information to read this past week. I also tryed to do the CITI training module, but I'm not sure if I did it right. How am I to prove that I did it?

Literature Review

Literature Review in Progress

hello everyone


I’m having such a difficult time writing the literature review. I always submit my assignments on time, but this will be the first time submitting late an assignment. I just can’t understand how to include all my research findings in a narrative discussion of topics. I think I have the three areas, but I keep on changing them as a read more articles.

Since my topic is in writing the appropriate daily lesson plans, I have the following areas:
The teachers' experience influences lesson planning.
Electronic performance support.
Lesson planning for success.

By reading other classmates’ comments of the literature review, I feel less lonely. I thought I was the only one having problems with the paper. Help! Help!

Literature Review in Progress

I have been searching for articles for the Literature Review assignment. This step has been time consuming, but it has provided a lot of information that I did not know about my topic. By reading the articles I was able to select the three areas that I need to include in the Literature Review.

Thanks so much for the comments that I have received from some classmates. The suggestions have been very helpful.

Pre-Thesis

I have decided to work on the project that I developed for ETEC 544. When I started to work on the Pre-Thesis Paper, I realized that it needs further development. It seems overwhelming all the information that I need to include on the Pre-Thesis. My state of stress is increasing even more because I still need to decide if I want my project to be an online tutorial or just a document tutorial. I have posted the Pre-Thesis paper on my website. Hello

My name is Maria and this is my third quarter taking courses for the Instructional Technology program. For my topic I might work on the needs of new elementary teachers. Specifically on the needs of learning how to write the appropriate daily lesson plan for specific schools. I have learned that many new teachers are not aware of the appropriate daily lesson plans that their school requires. My topic would discuss how to approach and solve this matter.

My progress to this date are the following. I have many new teachers who are willing to participate in my survey. I already have 3 articles for my literture review. I have a Design Plan but need to convert it into online program. I have started the Analysis Plan.

I hope that what I have already obtained for my topic is guiding me to the right direction for this course.
